Bailey Banks and Biddle Co Watch

This watch was left to me by my paternal grandfather Michael J. Munroe who lived from 1879 to 1969. He left it to me because we have the same initials (albeit in a different order). I do not know where he got this watch.

The name on the face is "Bailey Banks & Biddle Co." Embossed on the spring clasp is "18K" "PAT APPLIED FOR"

The crystal was lost in storage but the watch seems to still keep time accurately.

I am sorry about the quality of these photos.

I have searched the Internet but not pocket identification books. I have not found any images or descriptions of this watch. I am guessing it is from the 1920s because that was prior to wrist watches. I would appreciate anyone who can positively identify this watch.
