Chronometro Patent German with enamelled Horses

by Anonymous
(United Kingdom)

Beautiful pocket watch

Beautiful pocket watch

I'm looking for any information on this pocket watch. Beautiful enamel panel of two horses to rear. Crescent moon and crown mark + .935 on inside case ( German ? ) Also has a 5 digit number.

Cannot find any makes name etc. Quite slim approx 47 mm diameter. Has dial with same colour blue enamel surround, smaller secondary dial and "Chronometro Patent".

If anyone knows anything about this watch or has information about date, maker etc, I'd love to learn a bit more about it. Thanx.

Hi Julio,

Thanx for your reply, The case is silver .935. I sent both pictures but only one got listed. The enameling to the rear of two horses is superb. If you are allowed send me your email via the forum and I will send you further photos

The name "Chronometro" is associated with Patek Philippe, it was used to describe a movement that is chronometer rated. Look up "Chronometro Gondolo" and you will be able to read a lot more about their watches.

Your watch is a beauty! Don't know if its a genuine Patek though, although the quality of it looks great. What's the case? Is it solid gold or filled? Lovely watch.
