Hamilton Pocket Watch and Gold Fob

This 14k Hamilton pocket watch and fob belonged to my neighbor's grandfather. The fob has a gold rush scene front and back and the watch case is solid 14K gold with beautiful carving and 3 colors of gold.

We think it was made around 1900 in California. We have not been able to find anything comparable and would like any information anyone might have.

As you can see, the watch has a highly decorative case which would suggest that it was possibly made to order.
