Information on this unnamed pocket watch

by Walker I Broyles
(Fredericksburg, Va)

What am I?

What am I?

This pocket watch has no numbers and no name is visible anywhere, absolutely nothing. I don't know whether this is normal for old pocket watches or not?

The case is 18kt gold and very fancy. The dial is gold also. This watch is key wind and key set. The case is marked "Savoy & Son", which I don't think has any relation to the movement. It has a crown with 18 under it as a hallmark. This is a hunter case pocket watch. The dust cover is spring loaded and opens at about a 90° angle from the back cover. The watch size is 18.

Can anyone help with some information on this pocket watch?
