James Borle Pocket Watch

James Borle Pocket Watch. Double-key, wind and set. This beautiful time piece is extraordinary. The case is in excellent condition (tape residue on front of case that can be cleaned off.) The face is in perfect condition, with no chips or foxing. Inside front case is: James Borle Geneva, 4987, 3592.

Back case has same, case to works reads: Patent, Full Jewelled, James Borle (in script,) Geneva, N-3592. Inside key case it reads: 3592. Works are very clean.

I have recently found a James Borle/Alfred Borle pocketwatch, #4689. It looks very much like the watch pictured on this website. The watch has been in my family forever, and was found with a lot of other old items. Any information about these watches would be so helpful.

I recently acquired a James Borle Pocket watch. I am having a hard time finding information on it. Does anyone know about how old these watches are? I am guessing they are pretty rare considering the lack of information available. I posted pictures of my watch on this website. Any information you could give me would be greatly appreciated. I have an identical watch

I have an identical watch in excellent running condition (James Borle Geneva No. 22867). My mother used to wear it as a necklace as it has an "A" on the front of the case.
