Railway Pocket Watch Early 1900s

Hello, first I would like to compliment you for the excellent website. Second, I have a pocket watch that was given to me by my great grandfather and honestly I cannot find anything about it online. I came across your website and it seems you have a vast knowledge about these watches. All I know is that he received this watch while working for a railroad company in Brazil, he was one of main engineers, working on putting down the tracks in the mid 1920s.

He stayed with him until he passed away in 1990. It's been with me since. There are no marking on the inside cover, none in the gear, none on the front part of the watch. Some markings are on the back and still worn off. You can only read "Railway Re......" and the small picture of a train.

Of course anyone that could help me in my family has passed away so I only know what I am telling you. I've seen many websites explaining what the railroad watches were supposed to have and I could not find any similar to this one. For a fact there were no manufactures in Brazil at that time so this either came from the UK or US since it has English writing on the back.

I appreciate if anyone can share any comments on this railway pocket watch or direct me to a site I can research a little more. Thank you for your time.
