WALTHAM POCKET WATCH

by Leo Ragsac
(Salem,Or USA)

Waltham Pocket Watch

Waltham Pocket Watch

I received this Waltham Pocket Watch as a gift about 20 years ago. I have always wondered about it. It has 17 jewels and has a bird design on the back. The serial # is 24143674.

Inside it reads: A.W.W.Co. Waltham USA 17 Jewels
If anyone knows anything about this Waltham pocket watch I'd love to know a bit more about it.

Hi, that serial number would make your pocket watch 1864.

Waltham pocket watch
by: francis

I have a pocket watch marked A.W.W.co Waltham on the inside front. The pocket watch front is glass and the back opens.

On the inside of the back, is written - "Baystate Imperial Coin" and under that the serial number 113636 and the serial number is also written inside the front cap.

Also written by hand inside the back, is "12 mars 1921 ressort" with the letter under it "L.G.C."

I'm pretty sure that the hand writing was made after probably by the owner at the time.

The pocket watch is all silver, the design of the inside front looks like to be in porcelain, with a circle of gold around the numbers and a flower in the middle of it.

With the serial numbers given can anyone help with the year it was built?

Francis
