Hi there, this is my first post and I am totally new in this...

I have this gold pocket watch and want to know anything about it. My grandfather got it as a present from some rich cousin a while ago. The pocket watch does not have a brand name. All I can find is this:

"Ancre levees visibles double plateaux spiral breguet is rubis nickel chaton" "No 177170" and "170 and some small 4".

Hope someone can help me?

Hey Brajkun, since I didn't find when you post this page, i'm not sure if you still here and can see my comment. I got a silver pocket watch has a same design of the movement. So that i can guess both of them are made around the same time, 1900-1920 perhaps. The man sold me this told that it's an American one, I suggest yours may also be.

Remontoire = stem winding
Levees visible = visible pallet stones
Ancre ligne droit = straight line anchor (escapement)
Spiral Breguet = overcoil hairspring

regards, Aki
