Railroad Pocket Watches
These pocket watches came to me after my Dad died. His Father and Grandfather worked for the railroad, primarily Union Pacific. I assume a couple were used for that purpose and that others were for more "formal" attire situations. I have only just begun to look at, hold, and enjoy these watches, most of which seem to operate very well. Soon, I will have a watch repair friend look into cleaning and servicing. I will also be researching to try to determine when each was made and which of my paternal ancestors would have also held and used each.
